Missing face materials error

Post by Marek Vander » Fri Feb 14, 2020 6:15 pm

Hello everybody
I am trying to put on the Market a few new meshes, but when I try to create the new product, I get the Missing face materials error
Oddly enough, if I ask to receive the Deliver debug version it has indeed a few missing textures
But if I go to rez the meshes from the folder in world, everything is ok.

Any suggestion?

Hi Marek,

If the textures are already in your inventory then even if they are missing from the product itself then your viewer will display them.

Try rezzing the object, reapplying the textures from your inventory to it, retaking the item into your inventory then readding it to the product listing from your inventory.

Hi Ilan, thanks for the reply
Alas it is still not working.
  • I had the problematic furniture returned to my inventory
  • Changed the textures for the ones in my inventory
  • Took the meshes back
  • Added to the MP
Same result...

For information, the problem seemed to be the shiny maps. For some reason they were not working.
I had to re-put all the textures on from the original mesh in some cases, in others was enough to cancel the maps
