Global Asset Repository (Idea)

I've had an idea.
What if Kitely implemented a "Global Asset Repository".
What is the vision of a Global Asset Repository?
It's a digital library of assets created and donated by any and all creators / residents
of a grid.
Who needs to catalog these assets? Librarians would classify, sort, name and curate the growing collection.
And Kitely has ACTUAL librarians capable of implementing these classification and sorting
methodologies. The only difference is that the assets are not books but virtual assets instead.
What "Assets" am I referring to?
Textures, Clothing, Meshes, Sculpties, etc... etc... donated by residents and creators to the public
library of assets.
I've noted that grids have basic assets such as textures and clothing and scripts in their basic
library. But nothing like those free assets comes close to what I'm referring to.
A growing repository could potentially be shared by many grids on one single collective asset
server.
The clear caveats here are simple, The person donating an asset to the global library must be 100%
the creator of the item('s) donated.
Donation of third party assets, where the creator made the asset full perms would also qualify,
but would have to be carefully curated by the librarians of the catalog making sure that proper
credits were assigned to the individual creator('s).
The reason for this important 3rd party consideration is that the hypergrid contains many freebies
which residents can bring back to their own grids with them.
Right now there are so many free assets everywhere it's hard to find any cohesive point for any of them.
But a global library would certainly make things more fluid.
Certain standards for asset donations would need to be employed, such as boxing an asset in order
to ensure easier asset management in world and for asset delivery to anyone requesting a copy.
There are certain considerations that would have to be made in order to ensure proper delivery.
So that's my idea.
