Back in InWorldz I had a few NPc's , just mesh static people, but you could plop a notecard in them that would tell them to interact with others via responding to different words. Is that an open script somewhere? I can't remember the creator of it. If I could put it into an animesh person that would be great too. I was looking at the Avimaster but I have very, very limited skills

I want to recreate some of that RP experience into my world in Kitely.

i can TOTALLY set you up!!
give me a holler inworld.
i have some of the basics set out at the Storylink Mall here in Kitely, you can go just grab a few things, but I can give them to you directly better. And more gooder things.

The bits you want will include…
- A script you can drop into a prim with an animation and an appearance card and poof you’ll have an NPC
- A recorder to record your own appearance to an NPC appearance card if you want to
- the program tool so you can program your NPC go on a tour or do activities
- the script put in an object to have selectable NPC companions
- An NPC killer for when they escape!

it sounds like you know all this probably and are just looking for the stuff, but if you want to see NPC companions there are a bunch at the bed-and-breakfast library on our Storylink Radio home estate in Kitely, and also some great ones in the sleeping bags around story circle campfire on October world. They might even be set to copy I don’t remember.

and if you want to see NPC’s powered by OpenAI come check out our opensim worlds fair exhibit.

Anyway… Give me a holler and we’ll do what we can do.

Thank you so much for your response - very helpful! I will definitely give you a shout as well as check out Storylink and your region at the fair

I may have known how to do things way back when but a lot of that info has since just fallen right out

- if you don't use it, you lose it they say!
