"Likes" and other emotions for the forum

Can you implement a "like" button and a others for the forum. I think it helps to show support for ideas that come up. People that are lurkers may register for the forum but don't post to agree or disagree with suggestions. The buttons may be an easier way for them to participate here and it will help gauge the support for ideas.

We can also have:
Dislike
Agree
Disagree
WANT!
Do Not Want!

I can't find a ready made mod/add-on for phpbb for this. I think the SLU forums use vbulletin, for which there has been this very addon for years. I have found requests for it and things like it in the phpbb forums, but not the actual mod. the closest I found was a Thank mod, and an abandoned rating mod. I found a phpbb forum that was working on creating their own.

Maybe I'm not using the right or magic keywords for searching. Anybody else know where to find something like this for phpbb (not vbulletin).

I'm happy to announce that we will be adding a "Likes" mod in the next release. It only supports one type of reply, "Like", but that seems to work well enough for Facebook so I think we can make it work as well.
