The End or the Beginning?
In 10 days, April will be over.
As World-Owner participants in the Hunt, you have all done some pretty amazing preparations to receive visitors. The treasure hunters we've had so far seem to be really enjoying themselves. Every week new folks are arriving in Kitely now--it seems a shame to completely remove a system you have put so much work into. Is there any interest in converting the April Hunt System into a longer term event? We might convert to a new theme periodically--such as "Pirate" theme next, perhaps, for example. Of course, everything depends on whether Dundridge is willing to keep going--and whether you all are interested. Please let us hear from you World-Owner participants.

while not being a participant [disclaimer done!!]...i still think this whole thing has been a good thing, and that if some version of it could continue, maybe with a break in between, that would be a nice thing-)) ]to many "things" in this thing...sorry]

I am all for it! Count me in and let me know if there is any way I can help with set-up. I suck at scripting though, so make it something else. LOL!

Yup, convert it and make it some kind of newbe discovery trail with presents;-)
Juts put a nice sign up at the welcome area and send people exploring.
Easy does it.
Good idea Sierra!

Re: April Hunt WORLD OWNER Chat
Extending things...
There is no way to detect the difference between an offline world and a world without a rabbit hole... I can remove a world manually, or detect how long it has been inactive, or detect if the world has been deleted.. Any ideas ?
This means it is much more effort to shut down the hunt than to leave it running

Re: April Hunt WORLD OWNER Chat
I for one think it's a good way to start discovering Kitely. Maybe give it some sign near the World Showcase in the updated Kitely Welcome Center and make it a permanent part of the new users experience. But to do that the system has to be able to detect worlds that are no longer publicly accessible and not include Adult worlds so there is no double TP failure issue.

Re: April Hunt WORLD OWNER Chat
If it was possible to detect if a user had "adult" enabled... this would be MUCH easier...
I told you it wasn't for evil
(filter is very easy to add for all, I do know several world owners WANT/do have adult rated worlds)

Users that would like to participate in this "new" "explore and discovery trail" would need to set the maturity level of their region by clicking the goddess;-)Dundridge Dreadlow wrote:If it was possible to detect if a user had "adult" enabled... this would be MUCH easier...
