No sweat, Ilan. I understand that it would have to be Kitely wide and that its not likely to be high on the priority list. Which are good points to make clear to everyone.

Just bouncing ideas ...
Is it possible to trigger the "cloudie" effect on TP out? Its already built in and I figure there's something that triggers it when you begin rezzing inworld while waiting for you appearance to load, so maybe that can be used as a TP out indicator.

Hi Sarge,
I'm not sure but I think the cloud is a hardcoded viewer behavior when the avatar shape hasn't been loaded yet.

Re: A Thought On How To Handle Long Load Times
Would it be possible to use a server side script to trigger a particle effect on the avatar when they initiate a TP?
This would get around the hard coded viewer effects, but still allow the users to see a visual notification of a TP in progress.

Hi Paul,
We already catch teleport events in order to start the world loading sequence. It should be possible to attach an effect to a teleporting avatar but it will require us to:
A) Have a good effect to use throughout Kitely - this will require community help to create.
B) Allocate resources to implement this new functionality - this will require us to not work on other things which are currently a higher priority.

Re: A Thought On How To Handle Long Load Times
Well, it seems to me that A) helps with improving community involvement and spirit while B) is not much of an issue as you have a good record when it comes to prioritizing.Ilan Tochner wrote:Hi Paul,
