Always on not on

Just to have it checked... today at 9:53am I tried to log into the "always on" world of Wellspring... and it wasn't on. Alex could be resetting it, or it may have reset on its own, or maybe crashed. Thought I'd mention it just to have it checked. Thanks!

Note: to save time I logged out and tried to log back in to my Home location (Kitely Welcome) and got the notice:

You are already in the process of entering Wellspring . Please wait for the previous attempt to complete.

I got that message on the Firestorm splash page... so it wasn't allowing me to log in to Kitely at all. If the region truly is down, this inability to log back in elsewhere could prevent an avatar from using Kitely... possibly at a critical time (such as when getting ready to host an event).

Perhaps it would be preferable if someone logs out, the system clears their "teleport" request and allows them to log in elsewhere.

Hi Snoots,

We're restarting all Kitely worlds in order to force a script recompilation that will enable the changes we rolled out to LSL and OSSL functions to work properly. This is a one-time operation per world that will slow down world startup time until that world's scripts are all recompiled and cached.

See: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... scripting/

Wellspring has a lot of script, the total recompilation for all of them took more than 10 minutes :-)

Every book in the Sendalonde Community Library has a script and we have a lot of books. There are also a great many sit scripts.
