I have an issue on the "The Rift 1,2". Anytime anyone comes close to the front of the castle on this region the sim crashes. Looks like it might be a prim bounding box issue. But the viewer bounding boxes all look fine. As do the physics shapes. Should be a number of crashes you can check around 10:00 EST on the 15th.
Thanks. -- Mike

Re: Region crashing bug
Hi Mike,
The physics engine (ODE) crashes whenever any avatar touches the front of the castle. I think this is because the front of the castle is one huge linkset, and it overflows ODE somehow. Please try to convert that big linkset into several smaller linksets; I think that will help. As long as you don't touch the linkset you should be able to manipulate it.

Re: Region crashing bug
We can do that TY Oren. ODE can be dicey. Any chance you'll move to Bullet for the update to 0.8? Or is that still too rough around the edges?

Re: Region crashing bug
Hi Mike,
Bullet is still not quite there yet so we won't be switching to it. However, we will be adding a per-world option for selecting which physics engine to use. ODE will remain the default but you'll be able to select Bullet if you want.
