Weird Texture Issue (large photos)

Post by Roswenthe Blackwell »

I am trying to make prim eyelashes, but the textures are turning black. They rez first perfectly, then turn black and stay that way.

There isn't an alpha yet, so the eyelids bleed through. That's fine.

Initial rez:

Have you made sure to upload the texture to Kitely instead of using it locally?

Yes. I'm not even sure how you would use it locally.

The texture rezzes fine as an image by itself. It's in png format.

Is it possible you set a prim color on the texture? (using that feature in the viewer Edit dialog)

It's set to white, and "Alpha Blending" as the alpha option.

Ok, so this is weird, but I started playing with the settings, and if I set a transparency on it of any percentage, it went back to normal.
