Does the change effect cost of premium land visitors?

Post by Lily Annabella »

I have premium now and with the new changes my head is spinning, lol. I see these great prices for fixed price worlds now and im tempted to make the switch. I have wondered how the "no more premium" accounts will effect the premium lands i have now. There will of course be more and more people without premium accounts so i have wondered, will there still be an additional cost for non premium visitors?

Hi Lily,

The way Premium Worlds work hasn't changed. In other words, Premium World managers are still charged for the time non-Premium Account users spend in those worlds.

Here's a suggestion from another Premium account holder...

Wait and see how things pan out. See what visitors cost in reality over the next month or so.

From experience, casual non-Premium visitors cost under 2 USD a month -- that's equivalent to roughly 10 visitor-hours if you buy KC at the maximum discount rate.

Holding regular events costs a little more. For example, I have a weekly game of cards with four non-Premium friends. Each game lasts between 2 and 3 hours. The weekly cost for this is around 2 USD, or roughly 8 USD per month. This still works out cheaper than running the world as a Starter -- and it gets the same resources as a Standard World.

In most cases, Premium Worlds will still cost a LOT less than even the new offerings.
