Re: Sign of the Kite weekly newsletter
MariaKorolov has a Twitter feed which seems to reach out to many practitioners and sometimes the general media.Graham Mills wrote:Thanks, Shandon. I think that was the easy part.Getting the news out beyond the core group of users who frequent the forum will be more of a challenge but hopefully we can collectively help Kitely become significantly more than the sum of its parts.
I am happy to do a short piece with a couple of screen captures to explain my research project in KITELY for a forthcoming issue of your newsletter. Let me know.

Re: Sign of the Kite weekly newsletter
Hi Michael
Many thanks for your kind offer -- we would be delighted to have a short piece for the newsletter or, if the mood takes you, something slightly longer for the newly launched website. The newsletter and website are in some kind of symbiotic relationship so I expect in due course teasers will direct readers from the newsletter to the longform writing on the website. You can send me newsletter content by IM or notecard inworld (Graham Mills_2) or by PM via this forum (Graham Mills).
I think Maria is aware of the newsletter and will hopefully put out vendors on her regions when I get round to making them.
Serene does a great job of getting the message out on G+.
Best wishes
Graham
PS: please email any lengthy documents to serenejewell@gmail.com if you decide to go for the website option (see http://signofthekite.com/)

Re: Sign of the Kite weekly newsletter
I have emailed a summary (about 500 words) plus an image. Hope it is useful.

Re: Sign of the Kite weekly newsletter
Many thanks, Michael.
Just a reminder to other potential constributors to send me any news for Friday's newsletter, either by Forum PM or on a notecard inworld. Just 4-5 sentences plus any necessary URLs, dates, etc. Anything longform for the website should go by email to serenejewell@gmail.com.

This week's newsletter from Sign of the Kite seems to have a history theme. Not a special edition -- it just happened that way

Re: Sign of the Kite weekly newsletter
Serene Jewell edited this week's newsletter so many thanks to her -- please note that RL stuff means we have (hopefully temporarily) shifted to a fortnightly schedule.
