failed to communicate to server

yesterday it took 'an extra while' to upload my new avatar to market,
it kept giving 'this action is not allowed' (now i doubt if that,was the exact 'words'....)

maybe its best, if i encounter,it again,ill take a printscreen?

all went well in the end (nothing 'error' giving i uploaded or so),
i hope this helps as info,
it feels to me the kitely market still has hiccups (just fyi) - i hope this is useful info ,

If you encounter a problem with our system then please note the exact time it happened (and your timezone), the steps you took before the issue occurred and, if possible, provide a screenshot of the error message you get.

today at 18H (6 pm), in Belgium (just a few min ago),
this error occured again,
attached fyi the printscreen (it always 'works' a bit after the error)
'this operation is not allowed'
its not exactly same as in 'topic', but i guess its fine to continue here?

What exactly were you trying to do when you got this error. Please be specific. What did you try changing and what did you try setting it to?

sorry i really donno,since it happens on 'no matter what procedure' (so to speak), in market,
when i upload a new product,
ill make,sure to inform that next time

it happens so 'irregulary' really,but yes,ill give that info,when it happens,so it helps

Hi Chris,

Our logs show that this was the error:

2020-05-02 15:58:43 (UTC) - You tried to Save changes to the product with Product ID 1000054881080.
Our server said: "This operation is not allowed [The product isn't being edited: 1000054881080]".
However, the website only showed you the first part of the error message; only our logs contain the second part ("The product isn't being edited").

I suspect that what happened is that you clicked "Save", and our server was a bit slow, so you clicked "Save" again. But by the time the second "Save" command arrived at our server the product had already been Saved, so the server complained.

If this is indeed the problem, then we should:
a) Try to work faster, so you won't be tempted to click "Save" again
b) Disable the "Save" link while we're working, to make it impossible to click the link twice

its totally logic that u suspect that indeed:)

thing is,i did edit it-added things-adapted things,when it occors
and i didnt click save twice im afraid
it gave the error soo fast (that i wldnt b able to click save twice lol)
i will give all info possible,next time it occurs to help all of you, who work so hard to make everything smooth & better
(its not a real probl atm since,it does work,after waiting a bit)
