To celebrate, the International Spaceflight Museum is hosting a party at its newest exhibit in its new Megaworld (ISMuseum region). We have migrated and expanded our Universal Habitat Mars Base from Universal Habitat region to ISMuseum region, replacing the system terrain with a new custom Mesh Terrain that is over 560 meters in diameter providing far greater realism in portraying the Martian surface. This has also allowed us to install a system of tunnel modules below ground, greatly expanding the Base facility, Included is a subterranean Hyperloop Train system with a track of nearly 2 kilometers length, connecting the underground Base facility with the landing pads which also feature up-to-date models of the SpaceX Starship interplanetary transport system landers, and an exhibit of how rocket fuel will be manufactured from the martian air and water ice. Our facility is designed to emphasize how colonizing Mars will utilize "In-Situ Resource Utilization" or ISRU based technologies to build almost all buildings and equipment on Mars from Martian resources, which will greatly reduce the cost of Martian colonization due to the elimination of the need to transport everything people will need to live. This will eventually enable regular middle class persons to seriously consider Martian migration.
So, at 1pm, Mike Lorrey will lead a tour of the facility with detailed excplanation of everything, followed by the live DJ entertainment of DJ Rosa Alekseev. Spacesuits will be provided, gratis. Come ready to experience the EEP martian environment.
