You can use audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to edit sounds that are too long.

I have a bunch I've made for shows, and it's on my to-do list to import them and set up vendors. Most of mine were edited from freesound.org stuff, which must be credited with the original donor, so I'll have to dig up that information from the old show programs and figure out how to keep that data with the sound files as well. Too many cool stuff to do, not enough time.

ah, some confusion there, my fault...I responded to your PM and I see now the issue.

I was simply pointing you to my thread on sounds I did awhile back. Where I made the offer to do them...

Freesound and Audacity is my usual solution, although I have started making my own sound recordings.
I intend to upload some to tracks to Freesound, and some clips to Kitely, but it may not be for a while.

Ok, thanks for all the comments. But I still need to purchase sounds. Does anyone actually have some that I can buy in Kitely right now?
