Is there a way to have a listing hidden or private
to setup that way for special assignments cases
like exclusive requests and promotionals for
external projects?

Hi Gusher,
Yes, you can deactivate the listing on its Edit page, that way you won't have to delete the listing to hide it. Please note that once you reactivate it it will be visible to everyone.
