Anybody wanna make a guess?

Re: How many trees...
Ummm... how many tress are there in one cord?
Btw, the reason I posted wuch a weird question here was that I had rezzed almost 2,000 trees in the sim and they were barely noticeable in that vast area.
I've done some calculations sincethen. With a 10 m average distance between the trees, you'll need 41,943 of them. That'll be a fairly open forest though. Reduce the average distance to 5 m (still not a particularly dense forest) and you'll need 167,772 trees!
It can be hard to grasp how much virtual estate you get with one of those Kitely MegaWorlds but maybe those numbers can help put it into perspective.

Re: How many trees...
It takes a tree with a trunk diameter of at least 18 inches (.5m / 1 cubit) to produce a full bush cord of firewood.
A Cord of wood is half a bush cord.
(8 feet long x 4 feet wide x 4 feet tall)
12½ Cords is about six 18” diameter trees.
So revised estimate would be over 300,000 cords.
btw - A Cord of firewood often sells for around $500, or about $1000 a tree. You’ve got some nice extra income there Tess!!
