Hello!
When I try to login, no matter if from my laptop or one of the big box PCs in one of the workrooms, the login-process times out with the following message:
++++
We're having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your internet connection or the Kitely.
You can either check your Internet connection and try again in a few minutes, click Help to view the firestorm Support Portal, or click Teleport to attempt to teleport home.
++++
On the Workstations, other users can log in to Kitely with their accounts just fine.
To exclude a user account mixup, corrupted cache or some such issues, I verified by entering my login credentials on another users account and - my Kitely account could not log in, her Kitely account did.
So there must be some issue with my Kitely account.
Is there a recommended checklist I can work through, default actions to be done here in the web portal?
Login not possible: "We're having trouble connecting."

Hi Vixy,
Please try to restart your router and computer then try logging in again using your account. When you open the viewer do you see the Kitely viewer login page? (which would indicate that your viewer has access to our system to be able to load it)
If you see the Kitely viewer login page then click the link for the Kitely Welcome Center then press the Login button. If it fails to login then please tell me the exact error message you get and what was the last viewer message you saw before that (I want to know when it failed during the login process)
If you don't see the viewer login page then what's your updated IP?
Have you changed anything in your current outfit or attached anything new the last time you were inworld?

Re: Login not possible: "We're having trouble connecting."
*flailing my arms*
It works again! I was just now able to log back in again!
=>I could always see the Kitely Login page in the viewer.
Yesterday evening when I was finalizing the next avatar package and finished testing a set of modified scripts, Firestorm crashed. I tried severa ltimes logging in, and everythign crashed repeatedly.
This morning I handed my laptop to somebody who knows how to test PC hardware, and she found the RAM in my laptop was throwing errors. Lots of errors.
During my lunchbreak we tinkered and found that my account had become unable to log in from anywhere. Then I posted the entry i nte forum, went back to work, just came home and now everything works again.
In case you did anything: It worked!
In case you didn't do anything: Maybe the router reset / changed IP on its own, or something else happened - I know for sure only that the current computer was restarted.

Then the system just needed time to recover from my computer talking nonsense.
