EMCS RP System Launched - Update: Free Weapon Added

I have just finished updating the Myriad RP System scripts and notecards that are available at Regio Excelsior.

I have also launched the Excelsior-Myriad Combat System, or EMCS. This is the 'traditional' HUD & Meter that people use for role play. It is in the same location as the Myriad System and uses the Myriad scripts. Look for the green box with my Excelsior logo on it. Please note, if you do not want to engage in combat, but do want to use the system for RP, then simply do not wear the Meter.

This is the very first version that I have launched in Kitely. I will appreciate any and all feedback.

I plan on importing/creating weapons and other items over time. I will also be adding quest/adventures.

If you want to create your own weapons, armour, potions, gear, adventures, monsters, NPCs, feel free to do so using the Myriad System scripts. That should ensure that the EMCS remains compatible with your creations.

Been messing with the RP system for the last couple of hours, and have rebuilt pretty much all the scripts into hud, meter, servers and what not. Fascinating. Now what ?! Apparently, I'm now "looking for adventure".

Insufficient permissions to get a copy of the combat system though.

How complete is this ?
(I'm wondering what works, and what to do next..)

No sweat, Dundridge. The "Looking for adventure" is part of the system. There's simply no adventure setup. Or quest, mission, whatever you like to call it.

I'll double check the RP system, I think its that new script I added.

I'll post here once its done, probably tomorrow.

Ok, I just spent far too long adding a bit of Myriad stuff to my Computer Plaza region.

Some of the system looks interesting ! I've poked around a bit with the quest system, but haven't had time to figure it out properly.

I've added a very simple HUD with Myriad enabled in the Update Centre on the main counter. No logo or graphics or customisation yet..

Btw, I set the scripts in the HUD & Meter to no mod. That's just to ensure that things don't get broken.
