What physics engine are you using for this Ramesh? (it may be worth testing both to see which works better for your usage scenario).

I'm guessing he used whatever the vehicles were optimized for -- overall v successful as far as i can tell. Only issue (apart from my lousy aim) was world map being slow to update but the minimap was fine.

Hi Graham,
World maps are recalculated once per day so I expect his dynamically created worlds will often have outdated maps.

I meant the green dots rather than the map as such.

We are currently using ODE. We experienced a few issues with Bullet, and we are still experimenting though. It may well be that Bullet is better, at this time for us, ODE is doing reasonably OK. Investigation continues.

We had lots of fun running a number of vehicles concurrently, big trucks, tanks, helicopters ... at one time we had 7 testers driving with no perceptible lag. We also experimented with a new way of moving vehicles without having to drive them.

We also evaluated our weapon systems that are part of the RezMela library ... that was fun too. We have identified areas where improvements can be made.
