We updated the system today with a feature that makes Events in Kitely much easier to find and attend. This update also includes several other bug fixes and improvements.

For details, see: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... rovements/

I think it looks awesome too and believe it will be a big boon to folks looking for info about Kitely. Well done! Now, can we get some of that on the website?

The info isn't directly linked from our website yet but you can already access the viewer login page from this address: http://www.kitely.com/viewer_login.

That is useful for those of us who see this forum notice, but is that link somewhere to be found on Kitely's website, so that folks not as hep, cool, and in the know as us will know?

Not yet, but anyone reading this forums thread (which is a global announcement in our forums) can see it.

That's what I thought. It would be very helpful to those of us who run inworld events (and, by extension, for Kitely) if these forums and the events calendar were accessible from the website, somewhere prominently featured, without having a Kitely or a forums account. It is events and active forums that has the potential to attract more users to Kitely. We *want* new people to know we are here, what we have to offer, so that they might choose Kitely as their virtual community and home. If they have to join first to know how great Kitely is, our chances of attracting them lessen greatly.

Your point is well taken Freda but please note that anyone can access the Kitely forums. You don't need to have a Kitely account to read it.

That is good to know. That is different than some other VWs, where one needs an account (often a whole separate forums account) in order to read forums. IW is one such and it, frankly, makes me nuts.
