I would like to see the colors Gold and Silver be added to the Variations / Attributes / Color please.
I got some products that are not yellow but gold. And if I find the time to bring some jewelry I will need the colors silver or gold.
Thanks in advance for considering this add.

Re: Asking for an add to the Variations Attibutes
Hi Isis,
The issue of available colors has been discussed a lot in the Kitely Mentors Group meetings. The goal is to allow visual search which means that the search is fuzzy in nature - adding too many options makes it harder to decide which shade a color is nearest too and creates ambiguity in the selection process. When you search for Blue you will get all the blue shades. Gold is a shiny Yellow, silver is shiny White and bronze is shiny Brown, etc.
However, we are finding that people are very resistant to this way of categorizing their items. We've therefore decided to add 3 more options to the Colors attribute: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Please use them for all relevant metallic shades (e.g. Platinum is a shade of Silver so list is as Silver).
This update will be included in our next build.

Re: Asking for an add to the Variations Attibutes
It does seem more natural to describe metallic shades as gold, silver and bronze.
As a buyer, I would never think of searching for yellow, white or brown when looking for them. I'm not surprised merchants were resisting!
So, thank you for reconsidering this.
