Hi everyone
A quick technical question for those who connect to Kitely when they're not at home. I'd like to be able to check my regions or do a little work on the Market when I'm traveling, but hotel Wi-Fi is often terrible for OpenSim. I've looked at some esim discount codes on comparison sites to find a good data plan. Do any of you use this type of virtual chip to share your connection with your laptop? I'm a little worried that the ping will be too high or that the connection won't be stable enough for 3D creation or in-world scripting.

Hi Alex,
Inworld latency and packet loss when connected via a mobile data connection can fluctuate from very workable to problematic, depending on where you're connected from, the reception quality, momentary network congestion, the weather, and other factors that can be out of your control. That said, there are people who have been using and building in Kitely over a mobile data connection for years. So this is definitely doable.
