Better Detection of Idle Users

We rolled out a few more quick updates to follow up yesterday’s large system update.

Better Detection of Idle Users

Due to user requests, we improved our idle user detection system. First, users that are using private IM to chat are now considered active (previously we only checked for public chat). Second, users that are busy scripting are also considered active. (To be precise, we check for the event where a script is saved.)

Canceled the User Referral Bonus

We’ve canceled the user referral bonus. This was a bonus of 200 Minutes that was given to users who brought other users to Kitely. However, we’ve heard from our users that this bonus is of little use and that it can cause frustration so we decided to simplify things by eliminating it. Now bringing your friends over to Kitely is its own reward 🙂
